Taking the long view of the history of Earth's biosphere, e.g., via the graphs below, one can see that atmospheric Carbon Dioxide concentration [in parts per million, "ppm"] has scarcely ever been as low, on Earth, as it is TODAY.
Once can also see that Earth's average global temperature has scarcely ever been lower than it is today.
So much for the "scientific" content of the "Global Warming" religion concocted by the "Eugenicist" -- 'humanocidal' -- 'Rocke-Nazi' ruling class.

One can also see, e.g., via the graphs below, that the Milankovitch Cycles of Earth's Insolation levels [levels of [solar] light/heat flux entering Earth's atmosphere from the sun], are now nearing their lowest ebb [see where vertical gray line in chart below, rising up from the 0 tic mark on the horizontal axis, cuts the several colored-line oscillatory graphs inside that chart -- the green, the red, and, especially, the black], impending Ice Age resumption, after the unusually-long, ~11,700 interglacial [vs. the Pleistocene-usual, ~10,000 year interglacials], during which humanity has arisen on Earth.

So maybe we shouldn't be so surprised that this winter has shown us so much actual, "empirical evidence" -- so much direct experience -- of GLOBAL COOLING, not "Global Warming", as documented below.
Perhaps the CO2 that humanity has historically restored to Earth's atmosphere, by burning carbonaceous [including "fossil"] fuels [fuels that arose via the withdrawal of past atmospheric CO2 from Earth's past atmosphere], in an ongoing combustion process that has no doubt helped to hold back the next Ice Age of the Pleistocene series, extending the duration of our present interglacial by ~1700 years so far, is no longer sufficient to hold back the deepening insolation deficit now being imposed by all three of the Milankovitch Cycles, acting together.
Perhaps we are facing the imminent resumption of the "Little Ice Age", on the way to its turning in to the next BIG -- ~100,000 year -- ICE AGE?
GLOBAL STRATEGIC HYPOTHESES --
The ruling, ‘Rocke-Nazi’ faction of the Capitalist
Plutocracy is desperate to impose, globally -- by
law -- the draconian increases in peoples’ home heating and other
energy costs, and the proto-totalitarian constriction of peoples freedoms, that
their “Global Warming”, “People Are Pollution” narrative “requires”.
They are desperate to do so before empirical evidence
refutes the prostituted, plutocracy-paid-for “science” behind their “Global
Warming” “Big Lie”.
They are desperate to do so because they see these draconian
measures as key stepping stones on the way to the fulfillment of their “Eu”-genocidal
agenda, their humanocidal global agenda, to reduce the global human population
of non-plutocrats by 90-to-95 percent -- as we have
documented, out of their own mouths, and out of the mouths of their
“spokes-puppets”, earlier --
The ‘Rocke-Nazis’ have therefore, and at an accelerating
pace this year, pulled out all of the stops to raise their “Global Warming”
propaganda upon the people of the planet to a crescendoing, deafening roar --
mobilizing their hordes of whores, and of dupes, in the media, in politics, and
in academia, to demand the adoption of their “Global Warming” austerity and
police state statutes, as if “the planet
will die in days” if we don’t knuckle under to their demands for the global,
“ecological” impoverishment, totalitarian, police-state oppression, and programmed
early demise, of millions upon millions upon millions.
Lately, it looks like Nature is stepping up its recent pace
of delivering the “empirical evidence” that the ‘Rocke-Nazis’ so fear.
Here’s a slight sampling of just some little bits of the recent
“data” that the Rocke-Nazis don’t want you to hear, but that they haven’t yet
quite been able to completely suppress from the mass media, either, let alone
from Nature Herself --
1. The “Polar Vortex”. In
the preludes to the Pleistocene Ice Ages, and during those Ice Ages themselves,
the Northern “circumpolar vortex”, the vast anticyclone that sits atop the
North Pole, and whose outer winds are called the “jet streams”, ultimately
expands toward the equator, with its “jet streams” in tow, on all sides, and with
frigid arctic air behind it, bringing that polar air along with it to the lower,
formerly warmer, latitudes.
Early results of such expansion would now include the
proliferation and intensification of North American thunderstorms and tornadoes,
as cold, dry arctic air masses collide and mix more frequently, and more
thoroughly, over a greater area, with hot, moist equatorial, tropical air
masses.
The Nightly Business Report, on January 7th, 2014
[episode 5658], reported as follows --
[Susie Gharib]: “Good evening,
everyone. Bitter cold temperatures
across the country, in all 50 states, even in Hawaii, forced millions of
Americans into hibernation today.
Freezing temperatures, with below-zero wind-chills, shut down many
companies, stopped trains, grounded planes, and caused power outages for
thousands of homes and businesses. Now
weather experts say the dramatic drop in temperatures today, as much as 50
degrees below zero in some sections of the mid-West, may be the coldest day in
the U.S. in almost 20 years. It’s a
phenomenon they call the polar vortex.”
At the end of this same broadcast, a satellite photo of the
extent of the “polar vortex” storm system was displayed, with the following
commentary.
[Tyler Mathisen]:
“And finally tonight, some photographic proof that no matter where you
may be in the continental U.S., it is nearly impossible to escape the
bone-rattling temperatures form the so-called “Polar Vortex”. Take a look at this satellite image from
NASA, showing the massive weather system covering what appears to be the entire
Eastern half of the nation, from Canada all the way down to central Florida,
and arctic blast that is almost out of this world, but very much here in this
world tonight.”
2. New Records for Great Lakes Ice Cover. The Nightly Business Report, on March 3rd,
2014 [episode 5697], reported as follows -- [Tyler Mathisen]: “And an update now on a story on the frigid
weather. We brought you this story
recently here on Nightly Business Report.
The Great Lakes are now more than 90% covered in ice. That is the most ice cover in 34 years. I’m cold just looking at it. With a massive arctic front forecast for the
area over the next few days, climatologists predict the ice cover will set a
new record this week, topping 95%. And
the potential economic impact could be enormous, as 20,000 tons of cargo,
including coal, fuel, and iron ore, need to get through the lakes during these
winter months alone.”
On the same date, the PBS News Hour, whose main newscasters
are members of the Rockefeller Council on Foreign Relations, whose broadcasts
are often underwritten with Rockefeller foundations’ monies, and which,
unsurprisingly, usually rams the “Global Warming” agenda down the throats of
its viewers with all of the “reportorial objectivity” that these newscasters
can muster, reported similarly [episode 1108] --
[Gwen Ifill]: “The
winter of 2014 dealt another blow to much of the Eastern U.S. today. Ice and snow up to eight inches in places
shut down much of the mid-Atlantic, including official Washington. It also grounded thousands of flights, and
forced schools to close again. Meanwhile,
in North Texas, an icy interstate caused a miles long back-up during the
morning commute.”
3. Niagara Falls Stops Falling. The PBS News Hour, aka ‘The
Rockefeller Hour’, on March 4th, 2014, reported on the ‘freezing-over’ of
Niagara Falls [episode 1109] --
[Judy Woodruff]: “A
deep freeze gripped the mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and parts of the Southern
United States today. Temperatures hit
the single digits, with some areas reporting record lows for the month of
March. Schools and government offices up
and down the East Coast remained closed or delayed for another day. The arctic chill also triggered a rare
sight: parts of the cascading waters at
Niagara Falls, between the U.S. and Canada, froze over.”
4. The Great Lakes Freeze Over. The PBS News Hour, on March 11th, 2014, in
its preview of the day’s news, reported on the ‘freezing-over’ of the Great
Lakes [episode 1114] --
[Gwen Ifill]: “...the
brutally cold winter hit the Mid-West especially hard. We venture out to witness a rare sight: the Great lakes encased in ice.” [Coast Guard Ice Breaker Captain]: “It’s almost like being in another
world. It doesn’t feel like you’re out
on the lake, at all. You know, looking
out at the ice, it’s almost like looking at the surface of the moon, or
something like that, because it just goes on for miles and miles.”
Later on in the same broadcast, Ifill expanded upon her
preview summary, as follows --
[Gwen Ifill]: “The
brutally cold winter has created an icy wonderland on the surface of the Great
Lakes. Special Correspondent Elizabeth
Brackett of WTTW Chicago ventured out to see it.” --
[Brackett]: “The sun
is just beginning to rise over Chicago’s ice-clogged harbor. Docked at Navy
peer, the Coast Guard’s ice cutter, The Biscayne Bay, starts gearing up for a
long day. Breaking a track through the
harbor ice, The Biscayne Bay heads out to clear shipping lanes in Lake Michigan. The ship is based in northern Michigan, near
the Straits of Mackinac. It’s rare that
the ice breakers are needed in the Southern half of the Lake.” --
[Lt. J. G. Junghan, U. S. Coast Guard]: “This is actually our first time in the
winter down to the South end of Lake Michigan, so i can’t say what it’s been
like down here. But in the Straits it’s
been the worst winter in twenty five years.” . . .
[Brackett]: “The
Great lakes haven’t seen this much ice since 1979. The Great Lakes Environmental Research
Laboratory reports that 91% of all the Great lakes have been covered with ice
this winter. Lakes Superior, Huron, and
Erie led the way, with 95% coverage.
Lake Michigan is next, with 93% coverage, then Lake Ontario, with
40%. The extensive ice coverage
surprises even long time observers of the Lakes, like Joel Brammeier with the
Alliance for the Great Lakes --
[Joel Brammeier]:
“The idea of the Great lakes freezing over entirely is simply something
that doesn’t happen. And, in fact, even
on Lake Superior, the last time Lake Superior froze over was in the mid
‘90s. And so this is a very special,
unusual winter.”
[Brackett]: “The Lake Carriers Association reports shipping
has dropped 30% this winter. ... But all of this ice is not all bad news for
the Lakes.” --
[Joel Brammeier]:
“More winter ice cover actually is good for the Lakes, because it stops
water from evaporating.* In the last
several years, in fact, for the last decade, we’ve seen record and near-record
low* water levels in Lakes Michigan and Huron.
With the high levels of snow fall and the high levels of ice, we’re
probably going to see a big uptick in water levels come Spring of 2014.”
[Brackett]: “It’s not
just the ice cap that is keeping evaporation rates down*. High evaporation rates occur when there is
cool air over warm water. The water
cooled very quickly this Fall, dropping evaporation rates* dramatically from
previous years. Because of this scientists
are now predicting nearly a three foot
rise in water levels, which would bring Lake levels back up to the long term
average by next August.”
*The "Rocke-Nazi" Global Liars try to confuse people, by associating drought with "Global Warming", since, over land, in drought areas, dryer and warmer conditions prevail. But the typical cause of drought is COOLING, not warming, of the surface waters of the bodies of water that, ordinarily, supply the moisture that keeps those land areas wetter and cooler when they are not in drought.
As noted in the newscast quoted above, as water surfaces cool, e.g., by exposure to cooler air atop them and in contact with them, the rate of evaporation of moisture from those water surfaces falls, thereby leaving less airborne water to precipitate later over land as, e.g., rain or snow, thus inducing droughts over land.
Intensified and accelerated drought and desertification is thus a normal part of the prelude to a ~ 100,000 year Ice Age.
The drop in water levels in the Lakes noted in the newscast above [due to "drought" over the lakes, and over the lands that provide water[shed] to the streams that feed into the Great Lakes], as well as the drought in California, are most likely symptoms of COOLING, not of warming.
The lead up to an Ice Age may exhibit extreme cold, and heightened snowfall depth, during the Fall and Winter months, followed by drought, and consequent "heat waves", over land surfaces, during the Spring and Summer months. In continental sub-regions where such droughts become extreme and sustained, desertification, a la the Sahara / Sahel, may ensue.
This pattern may continue until the climate cools enough for ice on the ground from Winter to remain unmelted throughout the Summer, all the way into the next Winter, accumulating a deeper and deeper, eventually proto-glacieral ice layer with every subsequent Winter, after every subsequent "no melt" Spring, Summer, and Fall.
At this point, "albedo" -- the increased reflectivity of ice-covered ground, throwing more and more sunlight, and "sun heat", back out into outer space -- become critical, via their positive feedback effects in exacerbating the cooling trend, inducing a self-accelerating GLOBAL COOLING , so that "RUNAWAY COOLING" begins, eventuating in a new ~ 100,000 year Ice Age.
5. Century Old+ Records Fall. The PBS News Hour, on March 12th, 2014,
reported on the recent fall of records of snowfall that are over one hundred
years old [episode 1115] --
[Judy Woodruff]:
“Snow and bitter cold are back in the mid-West and Northeast, after a
hint of Spring. A new storm swept across
the country’s midsection today. Chicago
and Detroit saw six and eight inches of snow, respectively. In Detroit, the total for the entire winter
could surpass a record set 133 years ago.”
